The Final release of the INSCAPE project will contain 4 installers, and it will be possible to export the story in 3 different ways for 3 different use:

INSTALLERS:

• INSCAPE (250 MB)
  
  • This installer comprise the INSCAPE main application, the default INSCAPE Object library (Standard data, 2D and 3D props / characters, sounds, devices), and the user manual
  • If their is a Quick Start tutorial for the Final release, it will be part of this installer (QST document + datas).

• Tutorials + Use cases (size is indeterminate)
  
  • This one copies on your pre-installed version of INSCAPE the use cases developed by end users, plus the tutorials documentation.

• Advanced creators (80 MB)
  
  • It contents all the advanced creators. INSCAPE is required before to install the advanced creators.

• Player (28 MB)
  
  • This is the player version of INSCAPE. If you don't use INSCAPE to produce a story, you can install this player on your machine and play the INSCAPE stories you downloaded from the web or someone gave you.

EXPORTERS:

• Export for further authoring
  • If you want to edit an INSCAPE story on an other computer that has the INSCAPE main application already installed
    • It exports the story file (mystory.inscape) + the datas specific to this story

• Export playable story

•  
  • If you want to export a story to play / experience it on a computer that have the INSCAPE player installed
    • It exports the story file + the datas specific to the story + the standard data used in that story

• Export standalone
  • If you want to export a story to play / experience it on a computer that do not have the INSCAPE player installed neither the INSCAPE main application
    • Export a package that contains the story file + its specific datas + the standard datas used in that story + a player.
